Thank you for your letter.
The aim for a common orthography of Walloon began only in the 1990's and the nowadays orthography has been fixed from 2000. There is still some discussions which are published on
http://berdelaedje.walon.org/viewforum.php?f=7&sid=d3835fd1e10fdc861951d95731c3876c
But it can be said that 99 % of the words are fixed now. The noted words
for automatic correctors are on
http://chanae.walon.org/rifondaedje/decides/mots
As far as grammatics are concerned, there are 2 reference sites :
* http://users.skynet.be/lorint/croejh/
written in French, with examples in ethnic Walloons AND in rifondou. But the normalisation of some words may have changes (published in the late 1990)
* http://users.skynet.be/lorint/picr/
written in rifondou walon, in 2001. Also here, orthography of some words may have slightly change.
As far as the lexic is concerned, the work of "esplicant motî" began in
2000 and the different definitions were published on the "Aberteke"
http://moti.walon.org/ untill 2004.
From 2004 to 2008, the same work was continued on Wikipedia, with a
differientiation of lexical content (pages beginning by "Motî:") and
enciclopedic ones (there was some enciclopedic entries on the Aberteke's
motî). NOT ALL "red" entries of the Aberteke site were copied on
Wikipedia "Motî:" pages. Mr Baudoux (who will receive this mail too should have a list of the ones not yet re-written.)
In early 2009, I started the Wiccionaire
http://wa.wiktionary.org/
pressed by inter-Wikipedians, arguing that this was the most adequate place to publish the content of "Motî:" pages of Walloon Wiki. Automatic re-writing, however, was not so easy, so that there are a lot of "blank" entries as
http://wa.wiktionary.org/wiki/%C3%A5dvins
On Wicconaire, "written" entries are :
* automatic recopied entries from wikipeda as
http://wa.wiktionary.org/wiki/tchafy%C3%AE
* re-written entries of Wikipedia as
http://wa.wiktionary.org/wiki/crama
which you can compare with
http://wa.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mot%C3%AE:crama
* developped entries of Wiki :
http://wa.wiktionary.org/wiki/schadrea
* "raw" entries of former Aberteke Esplicant motî (they should be re-written)
http://wa.wiktionary.org/wiki/nouzome
* developped entries of Aberteke Esplicant motî
http://wa.wiktionary.org/wiki/gueuye
which you can compare with
http://moti.walon.org/dicc_esplicantG.html#GU
* new entries, fist with the "Wiki's motî" standards
http://wa.wiktionary.org/wiki/zine
* then with improvments
http://wa.wiktionary.org/wiki/paltot
* now, with the standards of other wiktionaries

There are also non Walloons who are working on short, translation-minded articles :

You could help us in the same way, learning the words, and "filling" blanks of Wiccionaire.
